Going down in Virginia Beach, Virginia 2009 marks the 47th year for the East Coast Surfing Championships. ECSC is North America’s oldest running surf competition and the second oldest consecutively running surf contest in the world. Its a whole big festival taking over the town 3 full days August 28-30th with bands, skate & bmx demos and all kinds of other fun stuff. Full event schedule can be found on Surf ECSC.
